Seattle magazine's 155 Top Lawyers

In this, our fourth Top Lawyers issue, we list the attorneys who were named the best by their peers in 36 areas of practice from bankruptcy to real estate, business litigation to taxes. The list is a result of surveys mailed last September to more than 7,000 randomly selected attorneys in King County and portions of Snohomish, Pierce and Kitsap counties. We asked them to name whom they would call if a loved one, or they themselves, needed a lawyer. We compiled the results, and the attorneys most frequently named are the ones included on our list. We asked the attorneys to share some basic information where they attended law school, where they practice and what they see as some of their key accomplishments. And finally, we checked their status with the Washington State Bar Association Web site (wsba.org), to make sure all are in good standing. While we know there are many excellent attorneys who did not make our list, we also believe that everyone included here is one of our region's top attorneys.
