Lectures

Richard Hansen has been a frequent speaker at legal education seminars, both locally and nationally, and he has often been a commentator on television and radio. In 1994 he was invited to give a presentation entitled "On the Cutting Edge of Legal Medicine - The Battered Woman Syndrome," for the American College of Legal Medicine at its annual meeting of doctors and lawyers in Los Angeles. He has twice been invited to speak at the Washington Superior Court Judges Conference and has lectured agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of Washington School of Law and at Seattle University Law School. He has taught the week long, intensive trial advocacy program sponsored by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in Boulder, Colorado.

In addition to these courses, he has been a frequent speaker at Continuing Legal Education Seminars, and has given the following presentations in recent years:
